Funded Projects

Research at Methodist Rehab Center is about restoring ability. The Wilson Research Foundation is proud to have funded nearly $5 million in rehabilitation research to date, including a $650,000 grant awarded in June, 2013.  We are continuing this focus on research, and with your support, the Foundation has expanded to fund additional needs at Methodist Rehab such as cutting edge therapy technology that leads to better diagnoses, assessment of progress and functional outcomes for our patients.   

Grants awarded by the foundation:

2013 - $650,000 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Numerous patient-focused research to improve recovery from disabling illnesses and injuries.

2012 - $650,000 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Numerous patient-focused research to improve recovery from disabling illnesses and injuries.

2011 - $695,000 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Numerous patient-focused research studies.

2009 - $450,000 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Numerous patient-focused research studies .                      

2008 - $461,000 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery at Methodist Rehabilitation Center.   Numerous patient-focused research studies . 

2007 - $457,866 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Numerous studies. 

2005 - $186,025 grant awarded to the Center for Neuroscience and Neurological Recovery st Methodist Rehabilitation Center.  Numerous studies.
