MERIDIAN, Miss.--Methodist Orthotics & Prosthetics, a division of Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, will host two days of open house activities for its new clinic at 1600 14th Street in Meridian.

Healthcare professionals are invited to tour the facility and learn more about the clinic’s capabilities from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 14. Hourly presentations from noon to 6 p.m. will focus on topics such as computer-aided design and manufacturing and advances in orthotic and prosthetic components.

On Sept. 15, the general public will be able to take advantage of free evaluations and explore the latest innovations in bracing, diabetic footwear and orthotic and prosthetic components from 9 a.m. until noon.

Equipment manufacturers and suppliers will be on hand to demonstrate their products and free refreshments and door prizes also will be provided.

Methodist Orthotics and Prosthetics treats patients of all ages. Services include the custom design and fitting of artificial limbs, diabetic shoes and inserts, lower extremity bracing and spinal supports and bracing. For more information, call 601-483-5280.
